Well duh. Ha! In what’s probably the most expected announcement of the year, Paramount Pictures has announced that Paranormal Activity 4 will be released on October 19th, 2012. The team behind Paranormal Activity 3 will helm the follow-up. The Saw films are a thing of the past, Paranormal Activity rules October now! Cannot wait to see the new installment, although I think they only need one more to wrap up the story! What do U guys think? If the series is as interesting as this trailer is… I’ll have a new addiction on my hands! Ya! ABC’s The River, which begins in February, is from the creators of Paranormal Activity. It’s got the same faux-documentary style as the horror series, but seems to have a Lost vibe going on. Can’t wait to see the pilot!
Paranormal Activity is a ‘07 mockumentary horror film written and directed by Oren Peli. The flick centers on a young couple, who are haunted by a really scary supernatural presence in their own home.
FILM REVIEW Storyline and characters- 7.5/10 Personal appreciation- 9.5/10 Cinematography- 7.5/10 Music and sound- 8/10 Final Score: 8.1/10 – Go see it! LEGEND: I was really impressed with this movie! It’s the first film in a long time that actually creeped me out. The low-budget flick starts slow, but let me tell you, it quickly turns into a suspenseful roller coaster ride. You find yourself rooting on for the tormented couple. Can’t tell you more. Just go watch it… with someone!
