We told a you a few months ago that Gossip Girl’s Chace Crawford may be  replacing heartthrob  Zac Efron in the upcoming remake of Footloose.

Guess what?

Sources are telling us that he might get the part, but  the only thing stopping  him is his  shooting schedule and Gossip Girl seems to be getting in the way! We hope he doesn’t miss out on this good  role!

He recently auditioned for the part, but no casting decisions have been made. Also, our  sources say that  he did a very good job at the audition.
