Okay, I don’t think it’s to bold to say that I think Michele Bachmann is an idiot. Uhm, I would go as far as calling her an unintelligent moron!!

But on top of that, she’s so batshit crazy, thinkin’ she has a chance at being president. Michele, the beard of her husband Marcus Bachmann, said the following this weekend —>

“We’re going to win the White House. So let’s finally have one of us in the White House. You won’t find YouTube clips of me speaking in support of Roe v. Wade, you won’t find me equivocating or hemming or hawing when I’m asked if marriage is between one man and one woman. You won’t find me paying off big political donors with big political favors.”

I’m sorry, I didn’t know we were watching a sitcom!

As many of you know, federal NDP Leader Jack Layton died of cancer two days ago. He was only 61. The party says Jack died peacefully at
his home in Toronto. He was surrounded by loved ones.

Boy, am I ever heavyhearted.

I really admired him, he was courageous and one of the few good guys in politics. Glad he got to see his party’s amazing breakthrough in this past federal election, which propelled the NDP into Official Opposition in Ottawa.

It’s too bad, after announcing last month that he was taking a leave of absence to fight a 2nd form of cancer, Jack said he was confident that he would return once Parliament resumed in September.

John Legend had some wise words for Donald Trump last night at the Jazz at Lincoln Center 2011 Annual Gala. He is upset (like many) over Donald’s questioning of Barack Obama‘s nationality.

Here’s what the singer told NY magazine —>

“He needs to stop saying that racist bullshit birther shit. Quote me please. He should be ashamed of himself. It’s awful, really.”

I agree with him.

I’ve got nothing against Donald (actually, he fascinates me)!

But…

I think it’s a lil’ absurd to believe that Barack was not born in the US!

Sarah Palin’s Alaska will  not be returning for a 2nd season!

Even though Sarah said she enjoyed doing the show, it received TONS
of  bad press and could possibly interfere with the upcoming election!

As soon as Prop 8 was overturned in California yesterday, the
amazing  Lady GaGa tweeted to her fans about her inspiration!

Here’s what  GaGa wrote  —>

She’s an incredible woman, I’m  glad I met her last year!

Told y’all yesterday that Prop 8 was overturned. Yes, it’s a  big reason to
celebrate, but the fight’s far from done. Readers,  please listen carefully!

Here I go…

A  stay pending appeal was filed yesterday prior to  the ruling!

This means  Judge Walker’s  ruling cannot be filed until this appeal has
been dealt with, yeah. Crappy,  but I am confident  equality will prevail!

Bottom line, it’s what’s right!

Now. The judge has granted the community a stay of court’s judgment,
but  same-sex marriage  will not  be  allowed to resume right away. Okay!

It’s a setback, but faith was restored yesterday!

And it’s nothing we can’t deal with!

It’s true.

Discrimination of any kind  should  NOT be tolerated. If this whole
thing ends up goin’ to the  U.S. Supreme Court, I say…  bring it on!
