Elton John wants Justin Timberlake for biopic!

I don’t know if I agree of disagree with this wish.

However…

It’s an interesting choice!

Sir Elton John has revealed that he wants Justin Timberlake to portray him in his upcoming biopic. Okay, hmm, Justin can sure act and sing for sure.

But does he have the “Elton flair”?

This is something I would be interested in seeing, simply to see if he could pull it off. I guess Justin did play Elton already in the music vid for [This Train Don't Stop There Anymore]… so we will see!

Video flashback in honor of New Years Eve!

Remember the days when J. Lo was simply known as Jennifer Lopez, she had only been married once, and hadn’t started doing crappy romantic comedies yet?

Yes, it was the 1990s.

Well, she did this little jam in honor of Y2K called [Waiting For Tonight] and it still holds up 12 years later (as if I didn’t feel old enough already…)
She is totally smokin’ in this video too!

Enjoy this flashback to the times when we thought the world would end in 2000.

My top 5 music videos of the year! #2!

Okay, I know what you’re thinking, it’s too simple! How could it be so high on the list!

Au contraire, that’s why I love this video. It’s simple.

[I'm Into You] by Jennifer Lopez ft. Lil Wayne is exquisitely shot in Mexico and portions in black and white. The outfits are gorgeous, J. Lo looks stunning as usual and the man candy is delectable. Add in that the song is damn catchy, makes for  a fantastic video. It doesn’t rely on much, just natural beauty.

The only awful thing about this video, is the random addition of the [Papi] chorus. Totally unfortunate.

Britney and Jason spotted in NYC!

So that’s where they jetted off to after their engagement party!

Britney Spears and fiance Jason Trawick were spotted at JFK airport, supposedly arriving to visit with the Trawick mafia family.

Hope they have a good time!

Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt sing us a song!

Hipsters everywhere are geeking out over this video!

Okay, I’ll admit it, so am I. It’s just so cute!

Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, co stars in 500 Days of Summer, have reunited to sing us a song about new years.

Did I mention, they play ukuleles?

My top 5 music videos of the year! Number 3!

Number 3 on my list of top 5 music videos of the year goes to Katy Perry and her haunting, special effects driven video for [E.T.] ft. Kanye West.

Why do I love this video? So many reasons. The effects are dreary and epic, the makeup is spot on (and a tad scary) and the song is pretty damn catchy.

Russell Brand must be dynamite in bed to have a song written about the subject right?

The scope of the video is so epic, and shows that Katy can do dramatic well, in addition to her usually humorous videos.

New Jessie J single dominates!

British singer Jessie J has a new single out; the first from the re-release of her début album, Who You Are.

[Domino] is a delightfully energetic and playful song that also happens to have a pretty danceable beat to it. She definitely appears to be having fun with the song and with the viewers as she gyrates almost chameleon-like in front of a colourful, animated background.

Enough of how it looks, give it a listen!

Doesn’t she remind you just a bit of Katy Perry?

Lana Del Rey’s [Born To Die] is hypnotic!

Here’s one you really need to listen to!

Following on the absolutely mesmerizing [Video Games], Lana Del Rey’s new single [Born To Die] is absolutely hypnotic!

She has such a rich and mature quality to her voice and she’s only 25 years old. Her soothing vocals and effortless style yields maximum enjoyment. I can definitely see her star continue to rise!

Wouldn’t you agree?
