She has reigned for an incredible 60 years and is the only livin’ head of state to have served in uniform during World War II. This past weekend Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II turned 86!

Her monarchy has lasted almost as long as her great great grandmother
Queen Victoria (she reigned for 63 years). She has also presided over 13
prime ministers starting with Winston Churchill.

In addition… she is the world’s second longest serving current head of state behind Thailand’s King, who’s reigned for almost 66 long years!!!

When others would have retired 20 years earlier, Queen Elizabeth seems
to have almost boundless energy. LOL!! Just think… if she has inherited
her mother’s longevity (she lived to be 101), she could be on the throne for another 15 years!

Looks like Katy Perry has moved on from Russell Brand!

She was recently spotted getting very physical with new beau Robert Ackroyd (the guitarist for Florence and the Machine) at the Coachella Music Festival.

According to a lot of people, Katy has already started calling him her boyfriend. If that’s not the case, then she’s certainly playin’ the field!

The transformation and resemblance is uncanny.

Sir Anthony Hopkins IS Sir Alfred Hitchcock!

Anthony will be playing the famous film director in the upcoming behind-the-scenes tale of the making of the classic spooky film, Psycho.

Shooting began on Friday the 13th of April.

I can’t wait to see how the other actors look!!! Helen Mirren as Alfred’s wife Alma, Scarlett Johansson as Janet Leigh, James D’Arcy as Anthony Perkins, and Jessica Biel as Vera Miles!

After complaints from viewers and national media attention, the Federal
Communications Commission (FCC) said that the wardrobe malfunction
that exposed Janet’s nipple during the 2004 Super Bowl half-time show was “obscene”.

President Obama has asked the Supreme Court to decide whether or not
the $550,000 fine assessed against CBS should be allowed to stand. YA!

This is basically a challenge of current FCC policies, claiming that they violate the free speech rights of broadcasters, of course, supporters of the fine have claimed that the incident was indecent and shocking.

Does the fine match the crime?

Guess I should clarify: Canadian-born Anna Paquin and her husband Stephen Moyer are expecting their first child together in September!!

The couple met on the set of their series, True Blood, and married in 2010. This is the first child for Anna. Stephen has two children from previous relationships.

Citizens of Glendale, California beware: Kim Kardashian wants to run for
mayor of your city. More accurately, she’s apparently considering a seat
on city council.

Ok Kim, just what are your credentials and experience?? Doubtless, this bid will attract a ton of media attention, but is that a good thing or bad thing?

Apparently, current city councilmen have been bending over backwards in an attempt to attract her to the city. Um, I have no clue why though!!

Sure, the city has a strong Armenian heritage, but she’d need to appeal to a much larger, diverse group of people if she has a hope of winning!

I think that the reality star needs a reality check!

Singer Beth Ditto was photographed heading out on the town with her bandmates in Berlin, Germany recently. Hehe!! Got to love the look on her face!
