[Sweet Dreams] is one of my favorite tracks of all time!!!! Especially the Marilyn Manson version. Britney Spears used this cover as the interlude into the Freakshow section of her 2009 Circus Tour.

Well, now you can see it for yourself! Christmas has come early!

She looks happy and healthy. Britney Spears was snapped on her way to the Paris show of her stellar Femme Fatale Tour positively glowing y’all!

Greetings everyone!!

I had the pleasure (or displeasure, depending on how you look at it, hah!) of attending Miley Cyrus’ Gypsy Heart Tour at the Acer Area in Sydney early last week.

Miley has had her share of controversies. And despite her tunes being damn catchy (you all know the lyrics to [Party In The U.S.A.], admit it!) she is not the greatest singer in the world!! I always felt she would be more suited for country music, not pop/rock.

However…

Miley wants to be a rocker chick!

And she somewhat proved herself in that respect, I must say!

Wearing leather chaps and a diamond studded bra, she took the stage to the horror of many moms in the audience (heh!), who I believe were expecting Hannah Montana.

Miley is so desperate to prove she is “grown up” and a hardcore rock chick, that one almost forgets that just last year she was the Disney poster child for abstinence. She gyrated, hair flipped, and used brief foul language throughout her show.

That being said, Miley, having disappeared most of last year, has clearly
taken singing lessons! The girl has got mad pipes!!! While she screamed
her way through some of the pop numbers, she BLEW ME AWAY with the
mid-tempo tracks and ballads. And alright, I was particularly impressed
with [The Climb] and her rendition of [Every Rose Has Its Thorn].

Speaking of covers, she did quite a handful of them!

In addition to the one mentioned above, she also did a Joan Jett medley consisting of [I Love Rock 'N Roll], [Cherry Bomb], and [Bad Reputation]. All of which she hit out of the park. However, the one cover she should have left alone was Nirvana’s [Smells Like Teen Spirit], which she yelled her way through. Granted… it was not as bad as it could have been, but Kurt Cobain is definitely turning in his grave.

Having said that, the mothers in the audience all lost their shit when Miley sang some stuff they actually knew. It is nice that parents who were dragged along with their kids enjoyed themselves too!

All in all, Miley has definitely grown on me as a singer and a performer, I had a great time. She can hold her own on stage! However, she should tone down her sexual antics on stage.

She just turned 18!

And she ain’t no Britney mother f*ckin’ Spears!

Don’t wanna forget to mention…

I heard Rihanna rocked the hell out of Vancouver during her Loud Tour on June 24th and June 25th. Just look at her hair. Talk about so FIERCE!

The audience ate the entire show up as the singer performed her hits, complete with sassy costumes and vibrant sets. Wish I could’ve been there!

Fans and critics are saying that Britney Spears’ Femme Fatale Tour, which kicked off Thursday night in Sacramento, is a hit! It sure is!!

Everybody is loving how energized and comfortable Britney is being back on stage. Yeah!!! She is not the dancer she used to be, but she makes up for it in other departments such as costumes, set pieces,
and singing!

YES! YOU ARE NOT LOSING YOUR MIND!

Britney sang live! Not the entire show (there was a backing track),
but about 40% of it was live. I think this proves that Brit is trying!

She’s giving her fans what they want!

I had the pleasure of seeing Kylie Minogue’s Aphrodite: Les Folies Tour in Sydney recently. In the third row (I am still pinching myself so hard).

Don’t care how bold this statement is…

Kylie kicked Madonna’s ass, Lady GaGa’s ass, and my beloved Britney Spears’ Southern ass! She was unbelievable! Not joking, top-notch!!!!

The Greek mythology-themed concert extravaganza cost $25 million, and it shows! With fountains, a splash zone, huge set pieces, and the most amazing costumes designed by Dolce & Gabbana.

This show has set a new standard for touring!!!

It truly has.

But what sets Kylie above all the rest is her voice and stage presence. She did not use one ounce of backing. And sang 100% live!! She even sounded like her albums. It’s a shame that Kylie’s more of a cult star
in North America, yea!! She deserves to be much more widely known!

If you have a chance to see Kylie’s new tour, you MUST!

It is a night I will never forget!
